Workforce Singapore (WSG) and SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) are the leading authorities driving Singapore’s national SkillsFuture movement, championing lifelong learning and elevating educational and training standards to benefit our workforce.

In pursuit of hospitality service excellence, JUMBO Group supports and upholds this shared vision by aligning ourselves with the two distinguished organisations’ strategic guidelines. Our workplace learning and training programmes are meticulously designed to equip participants with critical skills essential to the F&B industry, and we are proud to receive WSG and SSG accreditation to function as an Approved Training Provider (TP) in our continued efforts to nurture talent across the hospitality sector.

JUMBO recognises the value of on-the-job training (OJT) in giving trainees practical hands-on experience while they learn, and our dedication to providing methodical and robust OJT to our staff has earned us the Certified OJT Centre status conferred by the Institute of Technical Education (ITE). We are also honoured to be acknowledged by ITE as an OJT Champion, a distinguished title that recognises our efforts in our structured OJT programmes.

JUMBO Academy is a proud recipient of the WPL:READY Mark issued by the National Centre of Excellence for Workplace Learning (NACE) led by Nanyang Polytechnic. This accolade acknowledges our readiness in workplace learning and solidifies our position as a trailblazer in cultivating a skilled and competent workforce through holistic training programmes.

One of our goals is to nurture a generation of skilled and passionate F&B professionals who can contribute to the continuous growth and success of the industry. To do this, JUMBO forges meaningful partnerships with esteemed educational institutions such as ITE, Nanyang Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic, Ministry of Education Secondary Schools, and the Asian Culinary Institute. These collaborations allow us to actively engage the youth and provide mentorships and guidance, bolstering our learners’ development in restaurant service and culinary arts.

While attaining accolades was never our end goal, we are heartened by the various industry recognitions that push us to keep striving for excellence in providing comprehensive workplace learning opportunities for the workforce.
